Shortly after his wife died and he soon remarried, my great grandmother, a divorcee, and went on to have 3 more children, the youngest of whom was my grandfather, Dick (Isaac). This photo appeared in the Jewish World with obituary in 1910.

MJ also wrote plays, some with his wife, including "The Shylock Myth".

 | The Landa Family c1933 Dick (Isaac) LANDA youngest son of Charles, was born in Leeds. Following his older brother Jack (MJ) to London to work as a journalist he was introduced to his sister-in-law's first cousin, Daisy PULVER. The couple were married in 1911. Their older son, Basil, was born in 1913 and seven years later their youngest son Godfrey (my father) was born. This photo was taken in the back garden of their London home in about 1933 around the time of my father's bar mitzvah.
